Dorothy McDonald Starace Obituary Bronx, NY Death:  Dorothy McDonald Starace will be remembered for a life marked by quiet faith, compassionate service, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. With deep sadness, her loved ones and the Capuchin Family Ministries community have announced that Dorothy entered into eternal life on June 29, 2026, at the age of 50.

Born on August 4, 1975, Dorothy touched countless lives through her generosity and steadfast commitment to serving others. While details about her early life and professional career have not been publicly confirmed, those who knew her best remember her for the kindness she shared so freely. As a cherished member of the Capuchin Family Ministries family, Dorothy, alongside her daughters, Anabelle and Cecily, participated in the Capuchin Appalachian Mission in 2023 and 2024. There, she faithfully ministered to residents through Senior Ministry and Vacation Bible School, reflecting Christ’s love through her gentle spirit and willingness to help wherever she was needed.

Dorothy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe, and their children, Anabelle, Cecily, and Joseph, who remain at the center of the prayers and support of all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no wake.
